Detox Water Recipes + Bottles

I’m subscribed to the amazing Cassey Ho a.k.a Blogilates on Youtube, and through her I learned about detox water. So it’s basically fruit-infused water that is so good for your body as it flushes out the toxins inside. It’s also refreshing,de-bloats, and is a fun way to motivate yourself to stay hydrated.

So in this post today I wanna share with you guys my favorite detox water recipes, their health benefits, and also stay tuned till the end cause I’ll also share some great places to get detox water bottles.
Lets get started!
#1: Strawberry infused water.

This is a classic, really simple but utterly delicious combo. All you need are fresh strawberries, cut them into whatever size you prefer, and add water! For best results stick it in the fridge overnight as they will infuse thoroughly, or add ice. *If you prefer, you can add your choice of herbs such as mint or rosemary.*

#2:Strawberry-Kiwi Lemon Cleanser

This recipe is basically an explosion of tangy sweetness. Packed with vitamin C, it’s a guaranteed cleanse.

-Filtered Water.

Cut in slices as you see fit, I recommend only one-two slices of lemon as less is more and you don’t want your water too sour. Chill for best results.

Lemon and lime are always a good thing to infuse in water, and they taste good too. Stick in a few mint leaves for flavor. I like to drink this first thing in the morning, and it leaves me super refreshed.

-Mint Leaves

Again, slice accordingly as you see fit and chill for best results.

It’s recommended that you re-fill your bottle to a max of 3 times, and then add new contents. This is because with every re-fill the flavor does get less strong and you’ve already consumed all the nutrients. You also don’t want the fruits getting moldy.
So I have found that detox water bottles make a really nice and creative gift. They come in unique and pretty styles, and here are some that I found.
This is the one I have and the ones I’ve gifted to friends. It’s one of the inexpensive yet super stylish ones I’ve come across, and they come in various colors. The fruit goes in the inner tube and the cap screws on. What I love about these are that it’s made of glass, so you can add hot water.
This is by Cassey from Blogilates, and the URL included is also to her post with more recipes for detox. I love the printed sayings, and they’re super colorful.
My friend has this bottle, and it’s great for those who drink a lot of water as it’s a 24fl.oz. This one comes with a straw as well, and you can pick a variety of colors. The price is really inexpensive as well.
So that’s it for this post! I hope you’ve found this helpful, and feel free to leave a comment or message me for more recipe requests.
Cheers to a happy and healthy lifestyle 🙂
