Tropical Smoothies 3 Ways

health

My favorite season, spring, is almost here- which means it’s warm enough for me to lug out my blender and start blending to my heart’s content! While I usually reserve tropical smoothies for the summertime, it’s never too early to taste the sunshine. 🙂 So today I’ll be sharing 3 of my favorite tropical smoothie recipes with you guys. They’re effortless, simple, and utterly delicious!

1.Pineapple Mango Smoothie

howtomakeasmoothie.net

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks (I buy the Wawona Festival Blend from Costco, which is a bag of frozen mangos, pineapple, papaya, and strawberries.)
  • 1 banana, ripe
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or substitute your preference)
  • 1 slice of lime
  • drizzle of agave, honey, or preferred sweetener

In a blender, combine all the ingredients together and blend. If your smoothie has trouble blending, increase your preferred liquid such as milk or water. Sweeten to taste, serve in a pretty glass, and enjoy! I love this smoothie because it’s so fruity, tropical, and refreshing. The color is gorgeous as well.
