Life So Far

I’ve been a bit absent with blog posts, so I wanted to update you guys on my life so far and what I’ve been up to. Life’s had its ups and downs, but I’m grateful for each moment. As 2017 slowly comes to a close, I’ve come to realize that this year has truly been magical.

I’ve been getting back into the shooting grind after taking a few months off after coming back from Taiwan. I just recently completed my photo series titled A Study In Blue which features a set of portraits playing with the shade of blue. I got to do this project entirely on school campus and with my classmates which was really fun.

I’m continuing my role as Piccola Gelateria‘s Creative Director, curating social media content and taking photos. Here’s a recent shoot with their new products:piccolacollage

I also just got to shoot my first independent wedding! It was a super low key ceremony at the park during golden hour, but the photos turned out great and it was a fun experience. New Orleans peeps- I’m available for bookings if you’re interested! weddingcollage

I discovered my favorite new restaurant on Freret Street and may have gone four times already in the last two weeks… Mint Modern Bistro is your traditional Vietnamese place but they have a modern “innovative” menu that is to die for. Think Banh Mi but as a burger…

Ya girl got back into that vlogging grind after two months! I’ve uploaded three videos this month on my channel, whoo! I filmed a Life So Far vlog that features just snippets of having fun with friends and enjoying life as it is. The photo up there is me and Amaris at the block party. It’s a screen grab from the vlog and for some reason, I really like it lol.tailgateSarah’s a Tulane University alumni and so on Saturday, Sarah Amy and I had a girls afternoon out at the Tulane tailgate. There was a bunch of free food and it honestly doesn’t get better than that. freretmarket

We then headed to Ferret Street for the monthly Freret Market. There was a live band and tents with a bunch of art and goodies. We came across this tent with watercolor painted canvases and prints, and I absolutely fell in love with these three canvas paintings of oranges, beets, and avocado. Ugh I’ll come back for you three when I re-decorate my room one day, I promise.

That’s it for now. Here’s a vlog to recap the last two months!

Lots of love,
